    2019 Officers 

    President - 2019: Jennifer Nevers 

    My name is Jennifer Nevers. For the last 6 years I have been working at Q Casino as the Human Resources Generalist.  My background is in the gaming industry where I have worked for over 14 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Clarke University, and am currently working on my Doctorate in Business Administration from St. Ambrose University in the Quad Cities. I have also earned my SHRM-CP.

    I grew up in San Diego, California in a military family, so I have moved a few times over the years. I have also lived in Arizona, Missouri, and Wisconsin.  Currently, I live in Asbury with my husband and our cat, Pumpkin. When I am not studying I enjoy traveling and exploring. My husband and I are huge baseball fans and have a bucket list to see all 30 Major League Baseball Stadiums together. So far we have been to thirteen. I enjoy working in human resources because it gives me an opportunity to meet a variety of people and help them grow as individuals.

     


    President-Elect: Krista Shadley 

    My name is Krista Shadley and I have been Chair of the TRIHRA Programs Committee since 2016. For the last three years I have been employed at Kunkel & Associates with my recent role being Human Resources Manager. I have over eight years of experience working in the HR field. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and communication studies minor.

    Over the past few years I have made it my goal to become more active in the community by volunteering. Besides being actively involved with TRIHRA, I also volunteer for the following: Opening Doors, Attitude of Gratitude committee; American Heart Association, Dubuque Area Heart Walk, logistics committee; Fountain of Youth, Funding the Future, committee; Women’s Leadership Network, member; Young Professionals, member.

    My favorite things to do outside of work: Recently, I have been enjoying hot yoga and spending my time outdoors. Devil’s Lake State Park in Wisconsin is one of my favorite places to visit during the summer and fall. Traveling in general. Last year, my husband (Mitch Shadley) and I had the opportunity to travel to Europe and toured Rome, which was an amazing experience.

     


    Treasurer: Anna Rolling 

    Anna Roling has worked as the Workforce Solutions Coordinator for Greater Dubuque Development since March 2018. Prior to working at Greater Dubuque, Anna was the Office Administrator for Eide Bailly LLP in Dubuque where she took on a variety of roles including, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, management and has over five years’ experience with recruiting and HR functions with that role as well. Anna is a graduate of Loras College with a BA in Psychology and minor in Business Administration. Anna resides in Dubuque with her husband Justin and three year old son Jonah. When time allows she enjoys being outdoors, home projects and relaxing with a good book!

     


    Secretary: Jamie Millus

    My name is Jamie Wille and I am the Human Resources Representative at Dupaco Community Credit Union. As the HR Representative, my day is filled with interacting with our employees and supervisors to help answer various questions around benefits, policies, and everything in-between! Knowing that I am making a positive difference in their day is what keeps me motivated and engaged. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends!
